A note on who wrote this. This is our own write-up of our own service, so read it as a specification rather than as an independent verdict — we have an obvious interest in you buying. What we can do is be exact about what is included, what the numbers really mean, and what tivo8k is bad at, so that nothing in it surprises you after you have paid. Everything below is checkable on the 24-hour free trial before any money changes hands, which is the only review that ever really counts.
The short version
- 70,000+ live channels and 280,000+ movies and series, one line, any device.
- $15 a month down to about $2.90 a month on the two-year plan — paid once, nothing auto-renews.
- Activation typically takes 5–15 minutes; it is an Xtream Codes login, not an app you are locked into.
- Sport is the strongest part: full league coverage plus PPV nights at no extra cost.
- Weakest points: one stream per line by default, and 4K only where the source is genuinely 4K.
- Test it on a busy Saturday evening, not a quiet Tuesday. That is when any IPTV service is at its hardest.
What tivo8k is, in one paragraph
tivo8k is a paid IPTV subscription. Instead of a dish or a cable box, live channels and an on-demand library are delivered over the internet connection you already have. You receive a host address, a username and a password, type them once into a player app such as TiViMate, IPTV Smarters Pro or IBO Player, and the app fills with 70,000+ live channels from 60+ countries, 280,000+ films and series, and a seven-day TV guide. There is no contract, no equipment to buy and nothing to return. If the concept is new to you, our guide to what IPTV is explains the machinery in plain English.
Ordering and activation: what actually happens
Orders are taken in chat rather than through a checkout form, which surprises people who expect a shopping cart. It is deliberate: a two-minute conversation catches the things that ruin a subscription later — which device you own, whether you need Arabic or Latino groups, whether you want the adult category removed, how many people will watch at once.
The sequence is: pick a plan, message us, confirm the payment method, and the line is created. Most lines are ready in five to fifteen minutes. Ordering at three in the morning our time can take longer, but someone is always on chat and you will get a reply rather than silence. What arrives is a short message with your host, username and password, plus a setup link for your specific device.
Payment is by card, PayPal or crypto, arranged in the same conversation. It is a single payment for the period you chose. No card is stored, no subscription object is created, and nothing renews on its own — when the period ends, the line simply stops unless you ask to extend it.
The channel line-up: what 70,000 really means
Any channel count on any IPTV site needs a translation, so here is ours. The 70,000 figure counts every feed on the line across all countries and all qualities — the same channel in SD, HD and FHD is three entries, and a match-day pop-up channel is an entry too. Nobody sits and watches seventy thousand channels; what matters is whether the forty you care about are in there, in a quality you can watch.
By region it breaks down roughly as: 14,000+ across the United States and Canada, 6,500+ across the UK and Ireland, 7,000+ Arabic and MENA, 8,000+ Spanish-language, 12,000+ across the rest of Europe, 9,000+ across Asia, 4,500+ African and international, and about 9,000 24/7 themed channels — single-series loops, franchise movie channels, cartoons and music. The channel list page has the searchable version, and the practical advice is the same for every provider: send the name of the channel you actually care about before you pay, and ask them to check it on the live line.
Picture quality
Channels are carried in 4K, FHD, HD and SD, and the honest framing is this: a stream cannot be better than its source. There is a genuine 4K group, and it contains the channels that are actually broadcast in 4K — mostly premium sport, some film channels and the demo channels. The rest of the line is FHD and HD, because that is how most television on earth is still produced. Any provider whose sales page implies all seventy thousand channels are 4K is describing an upscale.
On a 25 Mbps wired connection, the FHD feeds look like FHD and the 4K feeds look like 4K. On a 10 Mbps connection over 2.4GHz Wi-Fi, everything looks worse, and that has nothing to do with the service. The player also matters more than people expect — hardware decoding on, buffer set one notch up, and a lot of “poor quality” complaints disappear.
Match night: the real test
Live sport is the hardest thing any IPTV service does, and it is the fairest way to judge one. Everyone requests the same feed in the same minute, so every weakness shows up at once.
What works in our favour is redundancy. A big fixture is typically carried on five or six feeds — a UK one, a French one, a Spanish one, an Arabic one, a US one — each with a separate source and separate load. When one stumbles, switching takes five seconds. The people who report the best experience are the ones who starred four feeds per competition in advance; the people who report the worst are the ones hunting for an alternative during the second half. Our match-night guide is the ten-minute setup that prevents it.
Coverage itself is broad: Premier League, LaLiga, Serie A, Bundesliga, Ligue 1, the Champions League and Europa nights, the Botola, Liga MX, MLS and the Saudi league; the NFL Sunday packages, NBA, MLB, NHL and college sport; F1 across the full race weekend, MotoGP, cricket including the IPL, tennis, rugby and golf. UFC numbered events, boxing title nights and the wrestling pay-per-views arrive as channels on the night rather than as a $70 purchase, which over a year is the single biggest saving against cable. The full breakdown is on the sports page.
The claim we will not make is a perfect record. Every IPTV service has had a feed stumble during a big match, ours included. What is checkable in advance is whether there are enough parallel feeds that a wobble costs you fifteen seconds, and whether someone answers a message at 9pm on a Saturday.
The on-demand library
The VOD side is the half of the subscription people forget about when comparing prices. Roughly 3,000 current releases, 120,000+ back-catalogue films, 14,000+ series with complete runs rather than a single season, 18,000+ kids titles, and about 30,000 Arabic, Turkish and Indian titles. New episodes of a running series are added through the week while it airs.
It lives inside the same player as the live channels, with posters, a synopsis, audio tracks and subtitles where the source carries them. Resume works across devices — start a film on the TV, finish it on a phone. As with the channels, a title’s quality is its source’s quality: a 2026 release is 4K or clean 1080p, a film from 1974 is whatever was digitised in 1974.
Devices and players
There is no proprietary tivo8k app, which we count as a strength: the line is a standard Xtream Codes login, so you use the player you like and keep your own layout and favourites. It runs on Firestick and Fire TV, Android phones, tablets and boxes, Android TV, Samsung and LG smart TVs, Apple TV, iPhone and iPad, Windows and macOS, MAG boxes, Enigma2 receivers, and Roku or Chromecast by casting.
Setup takes about five minutes on most devices. Smart TVs and MAG boxes are the exception because they are authorised by MAC address, which means one extra message to us — and one extra message again if you replace the TV. Everything is written up device by device on the setup page, and the player comparison is in TiViMate vs IPTV Smarters vs IBO Player.
Support
Support is on WhatsApp and Telegram, 24/7, in English, French, Arabic or Spanish, and it is a person rather than a ticket queue. The messages that get fixed fastest are the specific ones: the channel name exactly as it appears in the list, the device, and the time it happened. That is usually enough to find the problem on the server and move you to a backup source inside the same conversation.
What support cannot do is fix your Wi-Fi, your internet provider, or a broadcaster taking their own feed down. Before messaging, it is worth ruling out the usual suspects — 2.4GHz Wi-Fi, a full Firestick, software decoding, a VPN exiting on another continent. The buffering guide runs through them in the order an engineer would.
Price, and what it replaces
$15 for one month, $30 for three, $45 for six, $70 for a year with a bonus month, $115 for two years. On the two-year plan that is under $5 a month, and every plan unlocks exactly the same library — there are no tiers, no premium add-on and no sports upgrade.
Set against what it replaces: a cable base package at $60–100 a month, a sports tier at $25–45, a sports streaming app at $20–30, two or three film services at $30–50, a kids pack, an international pack, and $60–80 for each pay-per-view night. A household with most of that is past $200 a month before anybody orders a fight. The like-for-like arithmetic is in IPTV vs cable, line by line, and the plans are on the pricing page.
What tivo8k is not good at
Four things, stated plainly.
One stream at a time. A standard line plays on one device at once. You can install it on as many devices as you like, but Saturday afternoon — a match in the living room, another on a phone, the kids on something else — is when a single connection becomes limiting. Extra connections can be added to any plan; it is better to decide that at the start than at 3pm.
4K is not universal. It is available where the broadcast source is genuinely 4K, and that is a minority of world television. If you expect everything in 4K, you will be disappointed by us and by everybody else.
Channel counts move. Feeds are added weekly and dead ones are pruned. That is normal and healthy, but it means a specific obscure channel that exists today is not guaranteed forever. Ask before you buy, and ask again at renewal if it is the reason you subscribe.
It depends on your connection. Under about 10 Mbps, or on an unstable line, no IPTV service will feel good. If your internet drops out regularly, this is not the product for you and we would rather say so now.
Is tivo8k legit?
It is a working paid service with published policies, a free trial before payment, a support channel with humans on it, and a site that contains an actual channel list, setup guides and a blog rather than one long sales page. The refund policy, terms, privacy policy, DMCA policy and disclaimer are all published before you buy.
Two practical warnings that apply to this whole market. First, the official site is tivo8k.store — several unrelated sites use similar names, and if you were sold a “tivo8k” line elsewhere we have no record of it and cannot support or refund it. Second, nobody legitimate will ever ask you for a bank login, a card PIN, a remote-access app or a “verification payment”. If that is asked of you, walk away, whoever they say they are. Who we are is on the about page; the only accounts we use are on the contact page.
For the record, tivo8k is an independent service with no affiliation to TiVo Inc. or to any broadcaster, network or device maker named on this site.
Verdict
If your household watches live sport, watches in more than one language, or is paying a three-figure monthly television bill, tivo8k does the job for a fraction of it, and the parts that decide whether you stay — parallel feeds, a real EPG, a person on chat — are the parts we have put the work into. If your internet is unreliable, or you want a written uptime guarantee on every channel, keep what you have.
Either way, do not take our word for it in a review we wrote ourselves. Take the 24-hour trial on a night when something big is on, run your own channels on your own connection, and decide from that.
Tivo8k review FAQ
tivo8k is a working paid IPTV subscription with a 24-hour free trial before payment, published refund, terms, privacy and DMCA policies, and 24/7 support answered by people. The official site is tivo8k.store; lines sold elsewhere under the same name are not ours and cannot be supported or refunded.
$15 for one month, $30 for three months, $45 for six months, $70 for a year with a bonus month, and $115 for two years. It is one payment for the period you choose: no card is stored and nothing renews automatically.
More than 70,000 live channels from over 60 countries, plus 280,000+ movies and series on demand. The count includes the same channel in different qualities, so the useful question is whether the specific channels you want are on the line – ask before buying and we will check it live.
Yes, 24 hours on the full premium line with the complete channel list and VOD library. No card details and no deposit are required, and it is normally delivered within about five minutes of asking.
Most lines are created five to fifteen minutes after the order is confirmed. Orders placed in the middle of the night can take longer, but support is staffed around the clock and replies either way.
Firestick and Fire TV, Android phones, tablets and boxes, Android TV, Samsung and LG smart TVs, Apple TV, iPhone and iPad, Windows and macOS, MAG boxes, Enigma2 receivers, and Roku or Chromecast by casting. Any player that accepts an Xtream Codes login or an M3U URL will work.
One stream per line unless extra connections are added, 4K only on channels whose source genuinely broadcasts in 4K, channel counts that move week to week as feeds are added and pruned, and a hard dependency on a stable connection of at least 10-15 Mbps.
No. tivo8k is an independent IPTV service with no affiliation, partnership or connection to TiVo Inc. or to any broadcaster, network or device manufacturer mentioned on the site.
